Participants of Spring 2017 cohort of "Cross-Border journalism" programme met for closing seminar

International teams of journalists from Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Poland, Russian, and Ukraine met with their mentors after month and a half investigation field trips. During their trips Perspektivy offered distance mentoring and travel assistance. At the closing seminar participants discussed results of researches and reviewed  their projects with their senior and junior mentors. 

Cross-Border journalism programme participants had a chance to present their stories to participants of Perspektivy Workshop and shared experience of cross-border collaboration. Participants were inspired and one of them said "Cross-border projects amazed me and now I know how to develop meaningful international stories with even a very little budget".

Perspektivy Workshop and Cross-Border programmes Participants had a joint cocktail where they discussed new cross-border story ideas with each other and mentors. 

Final project of this Spring 2017 teams will be published by the end of May 2017.

Next call for applications for Cross-Border journalism programme is expected to be open in the end of Summer 2017.
